Zhengzhou TSC provides various models of Rack and Pinion Jacking System, including SJ1000, SJ600V, SJ550V, SJ450, SJ400, SJ350H, SJ220, which can be applied to various types of offshore self-elevating platforms, such as offshore drilling platforms, wind turbine installation platforms and operation support platforms. In addition to the existing models, we can also provide deep customization according to the user's requirements. Our Rack and Pinion Jacking Systems are certified by ABS, DNV, CCS, and other classification societies. As of 2025, our different types of jacking systems have been fully applied to 33 platforms.

1. The Jacking units are designed to be utilized according to the rack and pinion principle which consists of a set of simultaneously operated jacking units.
2. A jacking system using climbing pinions to engage with racks attached to the legs of the unit to raise or lower the hull about the legs in the elevated condition or to raise or lower the legs about the hull in the afloat condition.
3. Each Jacking unit consists of a multistage planetary gear unit with a fully watertight Steel case. All gears are totally enclosed and splash lubricated, including the final reduction, excluding climbing pinions.
4. A jacking gearbox is driven by electric or hydraulic motors. Waterproof type of electric motor is IP 56. Each hydraulic motor will be equipped with a dual counterbalance to control the load.
5. A jacking gearbox is fitted electromagnetic brake or a hydraulic brake.
6. Electromagnetic brake fail-safe is designed, applied by spring when a controller is in the off position or in the event of power failure. The hydraulic brake is mounted between the hydraulic motor and gearbox. The brake is spring applied and pressure to release.
