The hydrogen purification module consists of catalytic deoxidization unit, a water vapor adsorption unit, a solid particle filtration unit, and other components. The rough hydrogen first enters the catalytic deoxidization unit and reacts under the palladium catalyst filled inside. Oxygen is converted into water, resulting in a residual oxygen content below 3 ppm. An electric heating element is installed inside the catalytic deoxidization unit to accelerate the reaction rate of the deoxygenation, and at the same time, water vapor is gasification for easy transportation. Water vapor will be removed after cooling and gas-liquid separation.
The water vapor adsorption unit adopts a three-tower process (adsorption regeneration, re-adsorption). The hydrogen gas flowing in dryer A after cooling to remove free water vapor moisture, and the product gas enters dryer B; After heating the electric heating element of dryer B, the adsorbent in dryer B is completely regenerated. The regenerated gas is cooled and separated by a gas-liquid separator to remove free water vapor before entering dryer C. The residual water vapor in the hydrogen gas is then adsorbed, with a dew point below -70 ℃. After solid particle filtration, it becomes high-purity hydrogen. The drying tower switches to the next state in sequence according to the cycle (8 hours).
