ALK Hydrogen Generator

The TSC ALK Hydrogen Generator uses DC to electrolyze water and KOH into H₂ and O₂, generating green hydrogen. Its low power consumption and certifications suit the industrial, power, and transport sectors.
Product Description

The ALK Hydrogen Generator employs direct current to decompose water and potassium hydroxide into hydrogen and oxygen via electrolysis, thereby generating green hydrogen. Utilizing electricity from grid-power, solar, and wind sources, the generator facilitates energy conversion using carbon-neutral materials. The Hydrogen Generation System primarily comprises a power supply system, an electrolyzer, a Balance of Plant (BOP) system, and an auxiliary system. As a high-efficiency water electrolysis system, the generator is characterized by its low direct current power consumption, long-term stable operation, high current density, rapid cold start capability, and a broad power range.

The hydrogen generator is constructed using proprietary key components, including electrodes and membranes, which have attained numerous patents. It has also been certified by CNAS, CE, ISO22734, and ASME. Third-party verification has confirmed that the DC consumption of the 1000 Nm3/h electrolytic cell is 3.75 kWh/Nm3H2 at 2000 A/m2 and 4.40 kWh/Nm3H2 at 6000 A/m2, which represents a reduction of 15%-20% compared to the industry average power consumption. The product's key performance indicators have set a new benchmark for domestic electrolyzers and are on par with or surpass the technical goals for 2026 announced by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).

Building upon established and proven technology, the hydrogen generator provides a comprehensive range of pressurized alkaline electrolyzers, as well as pressurized and gas treatment equipment. It can be customized and scaled to meet project-specific requirements and, combined with a containerized and compact design, can be installed both indoors and outdoors across a range of ambient temperatures.

Considering the diverse application requirements of hydrogen across various scenarios, particularly in the industrial sector, the hydrogen generator is suitable for chemical synthesis processes such as ammonia and methanol production, hydrogenation in oil refining, semiconductor manufacturing, photovoltaic panel production, and hydrogen metallurgy. In the power sector, it aids in the conversion and utilization of renewable energy, serving purposes such as peak load regulation, frequency modulation, and energy storage on the grid. For the transportation sector, it can be utilized in the production of green aviation fuel, green ammonia, and green alcohol.

Endorsed for its safety, scalability, and cost-effectiveness, the ALK Hydrogen Generator has garnered high praise from customers, with over 50MW of generators shipped and performing excellently in projects both domestically and internationally.
