CM Energy successfully delivered Marine Methanol Fuel System for China Merchants Shipping＇s 9300 CEU Dual-Fuel PCTC
On September 17th, the 9300CEU methanol dual-fuel powered pure car and truck carrier (PCTC) of China Merchants Shipping, constructed by China Merchants Industry Haimen Base, was officially delivered. The core methanol fuel system of the vessel is fully provided by CM Energy, which also supplies green methanol during the ship’s main engine testing phase. This vessel, certified by DNV (Det Norske Veritas) and CCS (China Classification Society), is equipped with the world’s first MAN S60 methanol main engine and the first MAN methanol generator. This supporting methanol fuel system, designed and integrated by CM Energy, adopts a full-chain solution for storage and transportation, supply, and monitoring. The supply system is adaptable to the multi-condition operation of the engine, also the storage and transportation system complies with international safety standards. Meanwhile, CM Energy provides value-added full-process technical support, covering scheme design, special coating process and on-site construction, which signifies that CM Energy has established comprehensive service capabilities in the supporting of methanol-fueled power ship equipment and refueling.
