CM Energy Conducts Client and Market Visit to Canada, Brazil and Qatar

From September 18 to 24, a senior delegation from CM Energy concluded a business tour across Canada, Brazil and Qatar, meeting flagship clients and reviewing the performance of its overseas subsidiaries, and gaining an in-depth understanding of market demand and industry trends.

In Canada, led by China Merchants Group Limited (“CM Group”) Vice-President Mr.Deng Renjie, the team of CM Energy visited BC Ferries and conducted an on-site visit to the company’s roll-on/roll-off passenger terminal and discussed opportunities for further cooperation. Mr.Deng Renjie, while receiving a briefing on CM Energy’s North-American operations, praised the company's achievements in marine supporting facilities, and urged executives to remain committed to internationalization, differentiated development, and low-carbon growth, aligning these priorities with CM Group’s global strategy.

During its stay in Brazil, CM Energy unveiled the new site of the Latin America Regional Hub of the Global Service Center. Meanwhile, it paid intensive visits to key local clients and partners, and reached initial intentions on diversified cooperation in fields including drilling platform operation, offshore asset operation and maintenance, and high-end technical services. The team also highlighted innovative solutions including cargo control systems and new energy sails for ships to clients, and reached a consensus with local partners on actively conducting cooperation in the fields of manufacturing of high-end ships and their supporting facilities, as well as green energy.

In Qatar, CM Energy officially launched the Global Service Center’s service station in Doha. It also held discussions with local enterprises in the energy and engineering sectors respectively, focusing on the upgrading of marine supporting services and the application of clean energy technologies. These discussions laid a solid foundation for CM Energy to expand its regional business footprint.
