Building a Digital Foundation, Embarking on an Intelligent Journey – CM Energy Holds Master Data Governance Training and Digital Intelligence Promotion Meeting

To solidify the digital foundation for data and promote the efficient implementation of the company's major management systems, on January 29, CM Energy's Innovation & Integration Department organized a specialized training session on master data governance. This session marks a significant step where CM Energy's digital and intelligent transformation efforts have officially transitioned from top-level planning to a phase of full participation and comprehensive implementation.

Master data—core data encompassing organizations, personnel, customers, suppliers, and materials—serves as the "lifeblood" flowing through all business systems. Its accuracy, consistency, and standardization form the fundamental prerequisite for the smooth operation of future business systems, enabling integrated financial and operational management, as well as intelligent decision-making. This data governance initiative is precisely about laying the "standardized tracks" for a series of management systems soon to be launched.

Given CM Energy's diversified business operations and dispersed base locations, establishing standardized and unified "data language" is crucial. It is essential for fundamentally breaking down "data silos," enabling efficient cross-base and cross-business collaboration and resource allocation, and serving as the digital foundation supporting the company's specialized and large-scale development. This training specially invited experts from the China Merchants Shipping Digital Intelligence Center to provide systematic explanations on the cleansing specifications, maintenance processes, and operational procedures for the four core types of master data: organization and personnel, customers, suppliers, and materials. This provided clear guidance for subsequent hands-on implementation across various business lines.
